Hanako Shintani is a Japanese Professional Wrestler and former Mixed Martial Artist that was born on February 14th, 1999. She began doing MMA at the age of 18, but stopped when she turned 22. She gained the eyes of Kita Hikari, who was a Pro Wrestler. She went under her wing, making her professional debut in 2022. She felt a lot of pressure to not disappoint the legendary wrestler, so she immediately stepped up to the Ace level that Hanako knew Kita wanted her to be at.

BACKSTORY

Hanako Shintani was born on February 14th, 1999 in Okinawa, Japan. Her mother was a fish shop owner while her father was a fisherman that supplied fish for that shop. They were able to make a comfortable living but nothing over the top. Hanako lived a fairly calm childhood while she went through schooling, passing her with mostly top marks each year. Her struggles mostly started when she was around 14 years old, being bullied for appearing to be too skinny. This caused her to make some decisions to change her life.Hanako had asked her parents about taking classes for fighting which they agreed. She ended up settling with BJJ for a couple years before fully transitioning into MMA Training. She eventually stopped being picked on when she had shown people what she was capable of. She had done wrestling in her later school years, doing somewhat well until she had graduated.Instead of going to college she decided to focus on her MMA training until she was 18, where she made her MMA debut for an underground organization on her 18th birthday. She built up a nice record, ending up with 9 wins, 3 losses, and 1 no contest. She had a bad injury when she was 21 years old (in 2020), her third loss. She had been knocked out to the point where she had a concussion after the fight. She took some time off, having another fight the next year then retired after she got that win.After that fight she had gotten the attention of Professional Wrestler, Kita Hikari. She offered to train at her dojo and Hanako accepted without any hesitation. They trained for months, waiting to make her debut on May 7th, 2022. She lost her debut match, but it was a battle. Immediately after that, she was pushing herself and pressured herself to become something she was so far away from being - an Ace. She had the gear, had the entrance music, had the moveset, everything that an Ace would have. Most importantly, she carried herself like one. All of this so that Kita wouldn't be disappointed in her.

Hanako Shintani acts like she's an Ace. Yes, she is only at the beginning of her career, but the pressure of having Kita Hikari's eyes on her has forced her to jolt forward. The look, the presentation, the wrestling, of an Ace. Cool and Collected in the ring, her heart blazes as she works her opponents down.
